Faith...we hear this word often throughout our lives, or the phrase "Faith It til you Make It". I heard this and it sounded cliche'ish (if that is even a word). But, I begin reading a book with that same title by Ben Tankard. He is a multi-millionaire whose hands were anointed by the Holy Spirit to play the piano. He became the Godfather of Gospel Jazz as we know it today. He has this FREE downloadable book on his website (www.bentankard.org), only 50 pages, but powerful pages. I am already on page 20, I know I could read all at once, but I am doing the action steps.
If he shares his story how his life changed by FAITH, what do you got to lose? right! I have always believed and had faith, but I am renewing my mind to prepare for 2014. My expecation for this upcoming year is ridicously outrageously crazy. I am walking out the blessings overtaking me (Deuteronomy 28:2) . I realize my Faith activates the Favor in my life.
I created this illustration while teaching a class on Faith & Favor at my church. It became so CLEAR, that my faith attracts the favor of God. God only is moved by our faith, every example of healing or restoration in the Bible, it was the Faith of the person. Their faith moved Jesus, and instantly they received. Just like there are INSTANT MESSAGES...there will be INSTANT BLESSINGS.
Everyone will not read this blog, however you who are it is purposed for you to do so. Know there is a measure of faith given to all of us. However, it is up to us to grow our faith, enlarge it and exercise it daily. I hope your reading this, compels you to examine where you are in your faith. Focus on one thing you know it will take FAITH to obtain, and put all your hope and trust in God. The moment you believe, you have recieved it, GO GET IT. "Jesus replied, what is impossible with men is possible with God" (Luke 18:27).
