Say "Thank You"

Growing up we were taught when someone gives you something and you accept it, out of courtesy say "Thank You". Also, if you are offered something and you decline the offer, say "No, Thank You". We are living in a generation where there is a spirit of entitlement, where saying thank you is not required or expected. There are people who expect you to do things for them and give to them just because. Giving thanks is natural when you gain an understanding that what you have has been given to you. From the very air you breath down to blood and oxygen circulating to your brain to cause you to understand what you're reading. When I studied mortuary science, we had to know how to trace the flow of blood from a mother to the umbilical cord of a baby. I complained and hated having to learn it, but now I can understand its importance. If a mother is injured and the need comes to save the baby you have to know where to cut off or redirect the blood supply. This process may be something you never thought about, but I am sure if ever your life was save, thank you would be the proper response. There are so many simple things you can think of you can be grateful for. A heart of gratitude is what I have this Thanksgiving because of  God continuous blessings. I have no health issues, family is well, heat works, water runs, gas in the car, clothes fit, etc. I could go on and on, bit you get the point. Give a little thanks, Say Thank You!
